GMTV

By plugging into our UGC platform, Europe's biggest breakfast show is demonstrating how popular programming can cross over seamlessly from TV onto web and mobile.

GMTV's six million strong audience can now participate in live TV debates, features and on-air competitions, such as Sofa Factor (their talent search for a new presenter) and Battle of the Brides (to find a worthy winner of a celeb-style wedding).

Traffic on GMTV's site has since doubled and the associated boost in advertising revenue has offset the initial investment many times over.

Nog Sawdon, Head of Digital at GMTV commented:

"Viewers are able to achieve a deeper relationship with our brand by sending video clips, photos and text from their desktops or mobile phones. Users send in comments, questions for celebrities and fun pictures of their pets or children.

The simplicity and flexibility of the Yomego platform is a distinct advantage: we can alter categories on the fly to respond to current topical issues. The more we trail for pictures on-air, the more the viewers respond.

Our programme producers are now factoring Yomego's UGC platform into all future items and looking to this pioneering content to provide GMTV with unique stories for TV."
